Brewpub Københavns answer to a bavarian wheatbeer is an unfiltered "Hefeweizen", which due to high content of proteins in the wheatmalt appears very unclear in the glass. VesterWeisse has distinct notes of cloves and banana, has a dense head and is a refreshing thirstquencher on a warm summerday in the courtyard. This is a good beer for lunch or lighter dinner.

"Cloudy yellow, small creamy head. Simple, sweet banana aroma. Yeasty, smooth flavour almond and banana. Soft mouthfeel and carbonation. Sweet banana aftertaste. I want my weizens a bit drier..."

"Draught at the brewpub. ABV was said to be 4.7%. Cloudy brownish golden colour. Lovely yeasty hefe aroma, "banana split" caramel candy and cloves. Typical hefe flavour, fairly dry. Slightly too bland and watery. It being served ICE cold probably didn’t help."
