"An excellent balance of sweet, sour and malt flavors. Head forms on the bottom and bubbles up to the top when poured into the proper kolsch glass. (an elegant tall, thin cylindrical glass) Perfect golden color. The only thing I would improve on here is the aroma could be a bit more prominent. This is far and away my favorite kolsch."

"500 ml bottle, bought in Germany. Pours crystal clear pale golden with a large head, leaves a nice lacing. Moderate aroma of aromatic hops with grassy and citrussy notes. Flavour of pale malts (including wheat) with citrussy notes, also a faint hint of smoke. Tolerable hops in the finish."
