Beautiful hazy golden color capped by bright white foam. Floral and tropical fruit aromas followed by a soft wheaty palette. Finishes with a hint of hop and coriander spice notes. A bit more body than many Belgian Wits, but still stylish and refreshing. 96 points - World Beer Championships

"I tried this one at the 2008 Max's Belgian Beer Festival in Baltimore, MD. This one is billed as an "imperial wit" and having not enjoyed one before, I had to give it a try.
The beer poured out a nice yellow color that was lightly hazed. It had a medium amount of carbonation to it. This lead to some beautiful lacing when I drank it down. The aroma was sweet and yeasty. From the looks of things, this was going to be pretty promising.
The flavor was rock solid. The Grande Blanche had everything that a wit beer should have and then some. It had the yeasty flavor, mixed with a somewhat citrusness to it. Maybe even a hint of lemongrass mixed with coriander. Drinking it, this beer had character and I like that a lot. Being a big Allagash White fan, the Grande Blanche is a nice Belgian beer that is somewhat comparable. "
