At the height of the heat in the heart of the summer, we felt the only cure was a raging mouthful of fresh Hops and Malt. Caution: May remove enamel from teeth.

"625ml bottle
7.5% ABV
I tried this beer on October 14, 2008 at 'The Beer Bistro' in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a translucent orange-brown colur with a light tan head. The aroma was hops, malt, and some citrus tones. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was all hops as the grapefruity tones were very evident on the tongue"

"has a very lumbery taste, but i dont see it as a negative. i dig how they display not only the ABV (7.5%) but the IBUs (72.41) and the OG (1.080). a great smooth but thick milky feel and a great beer. also a great buzz!"

"This is a great beer. For starters it will get you a buzz real quick. At 8.4 % alc/volume. The appearance is a deep dark amber. Distinct aroma of deep dark malts. Very flavorful and filling."

"Initially smelled grapefruit and lemon aromas amongst the floral hops. An amber colored full-bodied ale with a cream colored head that left behind some lacing. As I drank the beer I tasted grapefruit, lemon, floral hops and some caramel. Overall a very easy drinking beer that is worth seeking out again."

"I have noticed, for the most part, Lagunitas offers some real nice big beers for less than some of their competitors. No different here. Pours a clear orange color with a nice initial sticky head and pretty good retention. Aroma is mostly floral grapefruit hops but there's also some candy malts. The flavor consists of a lot of citrus grapefruit hops, especially up front, then mellows a bit with a lesser sweet malt profile. Finishes a bit bitter and dry. They are able to provide a lot of flavor with a relatively low abv too. And again, there's real good value here. I'll be getting this again. "
