This old beer is manufactured according to the Gallic traditional method. Like our ancestors, we aromatize it by infusion of seven plants and a little honey which gives him an exceptional flavour. You will be used this luminous and ambrée beer as alcohol 6°, between 8 and 10°c in a broad cut... or a horn with drinking.

"Bottled. Golden orange colour, small white head. Aroma is mild fruits, some herbs and spices. Flavour is spices, some caramel and herbs. Also some mild yeastyness giving a mild punch to the beer. "

"Part of the 8 brews my girlfriend brought back from her trip to Europe. Best before date is 03/03/07. This one pours a cloudy amber-orange colour that cannot be seen through. The off-white head is creamy and bubbly. Retention is quite good and the lace is thick too. Nice barley malt nose with the Belgian yeast. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, a bit on the watery side, and the taste is kind of lighter than expected from the aromas. Slight punch at first, then it goes even smoother. Some of the seven herbs used in this brew comes out mildly in the finish. Good mix of mild sweetness and bitterness. Reminds me of a lighter and tamer Unibroue's Maudite."
