(10/19/2005 8:25:40 PM) "Ok... last of the 8 beers my girlfriend brought back from her trip to Europe. Best before date is 31/03/07. Pours a deep brown-red with a creamy tanned head that has decent retention. Some patchy lace is left. The aroma is mostly of Belgian yeast, with hints of spices. Wow ! Did not expect that. A smoky kick right up front. Definitely is more of a rauchbier, than a stout. The buckwheat comes through in the finish. Hints of molasse are also found much later in the aftertaste. Light bodied, quite highly carbonated.
