"Pourred a ruby-ish brew with a nice head that left my glass way too soon. Wheat taste is apparent but not present enough for my liking. Also, I find that the body is bit shallow/thin for weizen. Seen better from Cheval Blanc but A+ for good cause"

[3] Review by Chopz from Cantley, Canada who has tried this beer once. (3/5/2005 1:25:45 AM)
"I bought this brew at the SAQ in Hull, near the casino. It pours a hazy orange-brown colour with an average head that did not stay long. It did top the surface with a thin layer for a while though. The scent was yeasty and wheaty, but not too strong. Taste is creamy with hints of tart and spices. Very smooth mouthfeel. Similar too all the other Cheval Blanc beers, not a punch in the face, but always pleasant. This red wheat beer on lees is dedicated to the Copper Redhorse (fish) and royalties from this one goes to the "Fondation de la faune du Québec". Good cause and great session brew."
