"Thin dissapating white head, weak aroma of wheat. Very subtle taste of spice. This won't break any record. Probably one of the weakest beer from Cheval Blanc"

[2] Review by Chopz from Cantley, Canada who has tried this beer a couple times. (12/12/2004 9:21:39 PM)
"Came in a Cheval Blanc 6-pack with two blanche (white), two rousse (red) and two ambree (amber). Poured a nice hazy caramel-amber colour with a foamy head that left lots of lacing. Scent and taste are very similar to their good and popular brew, which is the blanche. Lots of Belgian yeast and notes of bubble gum too. All three beers are on the lees. All three are great. This one is just not a true red, but is still very good. Now, as I retry it, I see that the white horse has disappeared from the label, and now just says Les Brasseurs RJ spécial... as they bought out Cheval Blanc."
