Long before hops were common in most beers, various fruits and herbs were used to season beers. The clean, bright aroma and flavor of apples melds beautifully with the complex tartness of lambic. Smooth, light body with the fresh flavor of real apples and a light green-apple tartness.
Color: Glowing Gold.
Taste: Perfect with rich cream sauces, hearty soups, aromatic cheeses and spicy cuisine - supremely refreshing. Serve in flute-shaped Lambic glasses at 38-41 degrees F.

"This beer poured a slightly cloudy golden color with a nice head. It had a caramel apple aroma with a tart apple flavor. Had a full bodied mouthfeel and was just a nice beer overall."

"Another champagne like beer. THis beer pours a golden colour with a thin white tight head. The aroma is all crabapples. The taste is all crabapples."

"Pours into my 25cl tulip glass with an initial finger-and-a-half thick, pale, off-white colored head. The beer is incredibly hazy and in fact showed no sign of ever clearing despite resting in my cellar for the last month. It is an opaque, orange tinged, gold color. Sticky, sweet, apple-candy aromas (very similar to jolly ranchers) are noticeable as soon as I pull the cork and are only more affirmed once I actually try and smell the beer. There are no subtle nuances here, the aroma is completely dominated by sweet apple notes.
As expected the taste is quite similar; it tastes like a apple candy, very unlike apples or cider, but instead more like concentrated, sweetened syrup for your breakfast pancakes. This is quite easy drinking, with a bit of fullness to it, though perhaps not quite as much as the sweetness might suggest. There is a touch of tartness in the flavor, but it gets wrapped up in the sweet apple notes it is hard to perceive, but I think this is all that is noticeable of any real Lambic flavors.
Not much to say about this, if you like sweet then this works as a desert, it certainly is not beer, but I wouldn't say that it is offensive; the most offensive thing about it is that the word Lambic is on the label.

"Pours a hazy dark gold almost tan. The apple comes through with a slightly juicy, slightly cidery fruitiness. It’s a little too sweet and the fruit in this one covers up the lambic funkiness more than some of the other Lindemans lambics."

"Single bottle from the local grocery store marked down to $2.99, I like it already. Bountiful aroma of tart apple and sour malt, crisp and snappy. An earthy yeastiness showed up near the end. Cloudy, deep, golden yellow with a thin bubbly white head and medium lacing. Smooth tartness with a sweet kick. Medium bodied with a long pleasant finish. Flavor is primarily green sour apple and musty malt. It's dry, sweet, and tart altogether in a mellow blending of taste. Reminds me of a fermented version of the Apple Jolly Rancher candies. A nice refreshing Lambic, this is much, much better than their Kriek. If the cost were a little less, I would keep more of this around."
