Has the richness of an ale and the smooth drinkablity of a lager

"Ah, the little bottles. Rediscovered these after trying them many years ago. Pours a light amber-yellow with a thin head and little lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of slight ripe fruits, sweet malts and a kind of "cream" hops. Taste is of sweet malts with a very slight creaminess and very little hops. Still fun in the 7 oz. bottles."

"Pours a golden body with a huge malted skunky aroma. Small thin head that leaves scattered lacing. It has a tiny minty taste in the finish. It reminded of Mickeys."

"This poured a nice golden color with a weak head. It had a slightly sweet aroma with a firm malt backbone and a pleasent malty finish. It had a skunky aroma initially but was better after it breathed a little."

"This is by far the most disgusting beer I've ever had. It's so bad, I can still taste how bad it is years after I've tried it... it's just that bad. It left a film all over my tongue that I couldn't get rid of even with Listerine... it was as lingering as garlic or onions! It's bitter, tangy, and feels dirty... If urine was bottled, this is definitely what it would taste like. I only bought it while I was at a concert in Cleveland, because it was $1, and that's all I could afford that night."

"A rare treat reminiscent of some hazy college days. Little Kings pack some power and are very drinkable. Faint skunky aroma, not offensive at all. Medium yellow with a solid white head. Creamy to the palate with an easy finish. Flavor is of solid creamy malt real simple but it's good."
