"A bit hazy golden appearance with a big white head. As most of Malheurs beers I can pick up this raw, leafy hop aroma but not much else. Some caramely sweetnes, covered in honey in a thin body. The leafy charcter is there again in the finish but the beer is overall quite bland."

"What a great drop of suds this was. The drinkability of this beer is incredible!! If there is anything close to a Belgium session then this would be it. Nice aroma of bananna, bubblegum, sugar and lemon. Simply beautiful to look at. A huge white head with a cloudy yellow hue with a zillion bubbles zipping around like a cousin to champagne. A lively dance on the tongue gives way to a VERY refreshing beer with a taste profile to match the aroma. I couldn't find any defects with this and recommend buying if you ever come across. "

"One of the many fine beers brought to the monthly Foam On The Brain (homebrew) club meeting last night, and shared with the group. Where my buddy got this apparently rare bottle is a bit of a mystery. But what isn't so mysterious is that it's a very nice and very interesting Belgian beer that does *not* have a head-splitting amount of alcohol -- a rarity, indeed! ;)
The very first thing that jumps out at you when you first get a sample of this is the aroma: bubblegum? sugar? banana? All the hints of either a Witbier or maybe a very light and well-behaved Saison.
And yet the mouthfeel is much more sturdier than that. A rather interesting interplaying of sensations, with the light and airy Witbier-ish elements meshing with the more rugged Pale Ale highlights.
The flavor profile rides side-saddle with the aroma, in that there are definate notes of banana and bubblegum throughout the entire glass -- especially as the sample warms up some.
If I have one complaint about this, it's only that the sugary bubblegum prescence kinda gets tiring after a while. In other words, the small sample I got of this was great, but I seriously doubt that I would want an entire 33cL bottle of this....
Regardless, a rather unique beer worth checking out.
