"It poured a very burnt orange almost brown body, plenty of carbonation left nice lace. Aroma of sweet fruits and alcohol being the most noticeable. Mouthfeel was nice and smooth despite the high alcohol content. Flavor was a bit of a let down, at first i got hints of fruit but the alcohol covered it rapidly with a bready aftertaste. Overall a pretty good brew."

"This brew poured a nice big fluffy off-white head atop a dark golden body. I has a strong, spicy, citrus aroma. The flavor is sweet, full body with a good deal of carbonation. Finishes with a bit of malt, bread, yeast, and finally dryness. Alcohol is well hidden. Overall one of the better brews I've had.

"I had exceptionally rough week at work and it had been a while since I had last enjoyed a Maredsous 10, so I decided to order one up the other night at the Quarry House Tavern in Silver Spring, MD.
The bartender poured the beer out of the bottle into a glass that was like a stemless tulip. There in front of me was an amazing orangy-amber colored brew with a lovely finger and a half thick head. At this point, I left the beer sit for a minute as the beers at the Quarry House are typically served a little on the cold side. After a couple of minutes, the alcohol, yeast, and sugary smells started to hit my nose and I knew it was time to enjoy the beverage.
As my first sip hit my tongue, I remembered why I paid the hefty price for this Belgian treat. A warmth took over my body almost immediately from the wonderfully blended mixture of Belgian candy sugar, malt, yeast, and hint of citrus that mask the high alcohol content. I'm a big boy and by the time I reached the end of this bottle, I was feeling real good, not just from the exceptional flavors, but because the alcohol hits your system fast.
Overall this is a great beer and if you haven't tried it yet, the Maredsous 10 gives just about any Tripel a run for it's money. Enjoy!"

"A classic Belgian beer that comes in a funny shaped bottle. Full of particles, the taste is slightly on the spicy side (I'm told that is typical of the style)."

"Fresh aromas of yeast, light fruit, sweet grain and pepper emanate from this hazy deep golden brew. Head is dense and bubbly as is the carbonic mouthfeel. Solid, well-blended complex flavors with a warm finish that quickly turns bitter. MUSIC: 'Right as Rain' by Adele"
