Dark, refreshing beer with a distinct chocolate malt flavour and a smooth hoppy finish.

"Pours a dark ruby black-brown with a thinnish tan head that sustains leaving nice lacing. Little carbonation leaving a mouthfeel like a flat Coke. Aromas of sweet malts, mild hops and flat Coca-Cola. Taste is thin with a sweet maltiness and slight hops. Easy to drink."

"Cask@Akkurat. Very dark ruby red colour, mediumsized brown creamy head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, spices and some smoke. Flavour is quite the same, but a bit thin. Still a very pleasant cask ale. "

"Dark brown, bubbly beige head. Vague malty and roasty aroma. Nice and well composed malty flavour of dark chocolate and blck currant. Long malty aftertaste"

"Poured a dark brown to black color with red edges and a very nice head that provided rings of lacing on down the glass. The aroma was somewhat of coffee. The flavor was light roasted coffee with some cardboard in there. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied but somewhat thin for the amount of flavor. Carbonation was low."

"A very pleasent (and somewhat alternative) offering. This was a favourable blend of a rich, dark, roasted brew within a mild context. Not an easy flavour profile to pull off, but this beer has great composure. Not lean in the least, especially considering its alcohol percentage. Be festive and have one for Halloween! "
