"I picked up a six pack while driving into Madison, WI. Pretty cheap stuff and I think I would rather drink this than Coors Light. Not the best beer in the world but is pretty cheap and drinkable. "

"first off, this can looks like a cheap ripe off of a Molson Canadian with the maple leafs and red colors. Aroma is very grainy and very sweet with some maltiness as well as some metallic overtones. Appearance is a light-golden in color with a soapy head on top that is bleach-white in color and is soapy and dissipates quickly. Mouthfeel is very light in body with no complexity or balance to speak of with a palate that is thin and wet-like. Flavor is clean and crisp with sweetness with an aftertaste that is grainy and watery with a finish that is almost tasteless. Overall, sweet pale lager here with not much taste; very boring brew here... "

"It's not too often you can buy a can of beer for 39 cents that is not a miller product. while it wasn't exactly the classiest beer around, it caught my eye and I had to try it. Poured a thick golden body that was wickedly malted. A tiny trace of hops in the finish. Thoroughly grainy throughout the palate with a weak, light watery mouthfeel. "

"Holy beer balls batman! this is the best dam beer EVER. Okay, mabe not even close but after a few(7 or 8)your taste buds go numb and you get shitfaced from there on out. High it alcohol for this type of beer. Its recommended to unknowingly teens and people who want to get wasted for cheap as long as you can hold down the first few. "

"Saw this can at the liquor store on weekend. A slightly different label, so had to pick one up. I am getting tired of buying bad beer just for the cans - oh well.
From the label: "Mountain Crest Classic Lager Beer starts as pure, clean water from 1,200 feet beneath the 500 million year old Canadian Shield. Our gold medalist brewmaster ferments only the finest sun-ripened hops & two-row malted barley to deliver this crisp, clean classic lager."
The beer looks average in appearance, clear gold/yellow, short white head, one stream of carbonation bubbles - as expected. Oh the smell, corn, adjuncts, cabbage. The taste is more of the same cooked corn, with a sour after taste. Mouthfeel? No. Drinkability? None. A cheap beer, don't expect more.
