"Holy savage taste buds beating for the ages! Jesus. I think it's just pure liquified hops. First sip totally blew me away.
Poured out a amber brew with a hint of red and a thick but small, creamy off white cap and decent ropy lacing early on with more of a spotty showing later. The nose is just awesome from the get go with a massive citrus punch: orange / peach / grapefruit / nectarine / lemon as well something more exotic... did I name them all? Don't forget the background of piney hops weak caramel. The taste was a punch in the face with an A-bomb of bitter shrapnel. Piney and not leafy (nothing like Leafer Madness), solid caramel malts and the resounding taste of eating a fresh unsweetened grapefruit. The hint of spice might just be the only thing that I can taste after the other taste buds shriveled up and died form the bitter assault. Despite all the hops this beer still has a roller coster of flavors on each sip and that's what makes this such a fine beer. Man, sooooo good. Full bodied and smooth, leaves a decent coating in the mouth, finishes with permanent bitterness softened by the caramel. Excellent beer that I picked up on a whim during a spending frenzy that saw the beer bill exceed 200$US as Khoury's (highly recommended for it's smaller yet well chosen selection and knowledgeable staff) in Henderson, Nevada. With all these high marks, the DFH 90min and Deschutes Hop Trip are still in a class of their own."

"ok, this one is right up there with Ruination. Differnet, thicker mouthfeel...tastes fresher, like a hop altoid. if that sounds good to you, try this one. too bad it;s only in 22's. the only drawback is the escalating price...Stone's imperial is just is good for way less."

"22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy golden orange with a smallish creamy white head that laces the glass some.
The aroma is sweet caramel malts, some melon, piney hops and alcohol.
The flavor is hops, hops and more hops. There's a little sweet malt and maybe a touch of fruit initially. That is quickly taken over by harsh, resiny, charred hop bitterness that lingers throughout the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation and slightly syrupy.
Overall, this is the biggest hop bomb I've ever had. It's completely unbalanced towards the hops. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for the flavor profile. It seems like overall bitterness was targeted and it's not that great to me - just a charred bitterness with none of the fruits or pine that I normally like."

"this beer was sent from heaven to me piours beautiful golden amber tint with a thin white head that leaves abundant amounts of sticky lacing the aroma jammed with hops that cloud the nose with a hoppy definitely hemp or hash like smell as it warms slightly the grapefruit becomes more noticeable the flavor is hoppy wow so much hops it is definitely bitter but i love it the aftertaste is hoppy at first with a grapefruit finish that is dry and makes you pucker for sure but despite the huge in your face hoppiness of this brew the alcohol is well hidden i love it definitely at the top of my list"

"This beer just didn't taste right to me. Yeah, sure, it had the critical mass of hops jammed into the beer, but it just didn't sit right with me. It was entirely too much. The hops had a peculiar sour flavor to it, which I found particularly unfavorable. I'm very glad a friend of mine brought this over, and that I had people to share it with. I don't think I could have consumed a whole 22. oz bottle by myself. I liked the texture of the beer quite a bit, and I understand that the style demands this type of overhopping---so maybe it is just the combination of these particular hops that I didn't care for. It is definitely not an undrinkable beer, just not one of my favorites."
