We like to think we beat winter at its own game with 2°Below Winter Ale- a bright, warming blast of Sterling and Liberty hops along with tawny-roasted malts. By pushing our 2°Below into a final, nearly freezing state, its ample structure develops a brilliant clarity.
Dry-hopping during fermentation creates a rosy, floral nose with a hint of pepper spice and subtle, estery undertones. Weighing in at 6.6% alcohol by volume with 30 IBU's, 2°Below provides a bright, hoppy palate and a cheery warm afterglow.
We hope it helps take your winter from bearable to downright delightful.

"This winter ale is forgetable. Nothing to brag about. Nothing to criticize except for being forgetable. There are better winter ales in the state of Colorado to chose from. I'd recommend Avery's winter brew."

"Poured to a golden color w/ a white head. The aroma was a strong malt and a hops. this reminded me of a slightly hopped out version of fat tire...which I happen to really enjoy. To have a hopped out version is great to me. I'll be running out to get a 12 pack of this soon!

"I am not normally a big fan of winter brews, but the N.B. 2 below is pretty decent. Smiliar to an IPA with its hops, slightly dry and citrus hints. pours a nice copper color with a good head which lasts until the end. I would recommend this beer."

"Pours a copper/amber color. Nice head that leaves lacing down the glass. Aroma of citrus hops and some spice. Good medium/full mouthfeel. Clean, crisp taste. Well balanced with a spicy, sweetness and a hoppy bitterness."
