Treat yourself to a rare delight. The voluminous raspberry bouquet will greet you long before your lips touch your glass. Serve this Wisconsin framboise very cold in a champagne flute. Then hold your glass to a light and enjoy the jewei-like sparkle of a very special ale.
Oregon proudly shares their harvest of mouth watering berries which we ferment spontaneously in large oak vats.
Then we employ Wisconsin farmed wheat and year old Hallertau hops to round out this extravaganza of flavor.
Life's too short to wait for dessert. Enjoy!

"Not a big fruit beer fan but if they were all as good as this, things would be different. Looks, smells, and tastes like raspberries unlike other fruit beers that only kind of taste like the fruit they are supposed to contain. Great dessert beer, wish I would have had some chocolate cake to go with it at the time."

"Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours deep raspberry-purple not unlike a melted raspberry smoothie with a nice cherry-pink head leaving some lacing. Some carbonation. Aroma is overwhelmingly tart raspberries with a very slight grape, wheat and hops hint. Taste is tart raspberries with a malt backbone. Another extremely good fruit beer from New Glarus."

"Cloudy and dull red, well-carbonated, with an effervescent foamy pinkish head. The nose is quite pronounced fresh sour-sweet raspberries. Mouthfeel is clean and sparkly-tart but a little heavy. Flavor is rather intense raspberry, alternating rapidly between sweet and sour, but distictly fresh and natural. Overall, fruitier than the Belgian Red, reflecting the wheat foundation. Lacks the complexity and robustness of the Red, and a little thick, but still a mighty fine offering."

"I might sound a bit like a broken record whenever I rate New Glarus beers, but they are so incredibly well made and so damned tasty it's hard not to rave about them. I've been storing a bottle of the Raspberry Tart for over a year now and thought Christmas Eve would be a great time to break it out and share it with the family. The beer pours out a foamy, carbonated red color, large and small bubbles throughout like a champagne. Head is a soft pink in color. Aroma is like a bowl of fresh raspberries and a bit of toasted pie crust. Flavor just pulsates with raspberry fruitiness. An incredible balance between sweet and tart. I've been lucky enought to try some top notch fruit beers recently and this ranks up there right with 'em. Excellent beer."

"A really tasting brew all the way around. Beautiful bright red colour with plenty of raspberry flavor throughout the taste. Aromas very tropical and sweet, a light mouthfeel, plenty of carbonation with a champagne like head that foams up and quickly dissipates."
