Here is a Bock brewed to appease the Gods of Winter. Hearty and full-bodied this is a “Big” bier. Brewed in the Reinheitsgebot tradition, our Bock comes by its mahogany hue naturally.
You can expect this bier to be complex and smooth with deep chocolate and coffee undertones, complementing the rich bouquet. No matter, if you chose to enjoy our Bock before, during, or after dinner. Remember to serve at about 48·F. Because like many good things in life … the warmer the Bock is, the sweeter it gets.

"Bottle: Poured a deep burgundy color bock with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of loads of caramel malt with a nice mix of toffee and molasses. Taste is also quite rich with some nice touch of caramel and a sweet finish including notes of toffee and molasses. I thought this was still easily drinkable while maintaining quite a malt bill along the way. I very much enjoyed this one and wouldn’t mind having regular access to this."

"This is one of the several beers I picked up when visiting the New Glarus Brewing Company on my "Boozin Across Wisconsin Tour 2008". I purchased it in the store after I took a tour of the facilities.
This one was a pleasant surprise as I was unaware that the New Glarus Brewing Company had a bock product. The beer pours out a dark brown color with a dirty tan head that sticks around for a little bit on a somewhat vigorous pour. The Uff-da Bock has a somewhat average aroma for a bock. All I could pick up is a light maltyness aroma.
Like most of the New Glarus products, the Uff-da Bock has a very smooth drinkability to it. The flavor is that of maltiness, sweet caramel, and a light load of hops on the back end as well. The kicker is the soemwhat high alcohol content at 7.3% which you totally can't pick up in the flavor. This one could get you in a lot of trouble.
Another great brew from New Glarus that you must try if you have a chance. "

"Courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a deep brown with a thick tan foamy head and plenty of lacing. Some carbonation. Aroma of toasted barley malts, slight coffee and toffee and caramels. Taste is rich and balanced with an ample dose of toasted malts with a slight coffee taste and a very nice sweetness. Another excellent Wisconsin brew from New Glarus."

"Pours a beautiful red-tinged mahogany color with a slight, tan head. The nose is faintly malty with hints of caramel. Taste is complex and smooth; slightly sweet with predominant flavor of well-roasted malt, and coffee and molasses in the background. A satisfying and robust beer. Very drinkable. "

It is a dark brown pour with a small head. Nice malty flavor with a clean finish. Nice and smooth, it's an easy drinking brew."
