"I tried this one at the 2008 Max's Belgian Beer Festival in Baltimore, MD and boy did it take me a while to find this brew on BeerPal.com to review.
This beer was weird, but in the end I ended up loving it. The problem started with it being served way too cold. When the beer came out, it had this reddish yellow look to it with a small head. There really wasn't much going on in the aroma department. So I had my sip, didn't like it and pushed it off to the side while I tasted other beers.
About a half hour later, I came back to it to see if it had gotten any better. Much to my surprise this was a different beer. By this point it had a wonderful fruity smell emitting from the glass. I dove right in and the first thing I noticed was this great mouthfeel. It was very smooth and likable. The flavor was fun and complex. It was had this sweet berry flavor to it with a kick of some interesting spices in it. Maybe cinnamon? Either way, it was top notch and I really liked this one. I recommend anyone who runs across this one give it a try.....just make sure you let it get served at the right temperature before you dig in. "
