"Bottled (Thanks heemer77!). Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown creamy head. Lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, some smoked wood, coffee and dark dry fruits. Flavour is very much the same with very toffeeish hints. Very roasted and smoked aftertaste. Also some slight salted licorace. Really lovely. "

"This beer pours black with a small off white head and mild lacing. The aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee. The mouthfeel is medium, but light for an impy stout. The flavor is mellow, sweet, and roasty. This is weaker than most imperial stouts, but it is still a great beer. It would be ideal to introduce a stout lover to imperial stouts."

"This is not an Imperial Stout. This is a Foreign Extra Stout/Irish Extra Stout, although more of the scaled down Imperial version, rather than the bigger Irish type. Chocolately and roasty, slightly minerally, mild earthy hops, a bit watery for a big beer, but drinkable. A good Extra Stout, but this is no Imperial."

"Bottle purchased in Omaha. Poured a black color with a great head and excellent lacing for an impy stout. The aroma was coffee first and chocolate second. Flavor was coffee, chocolate, licorice, some dark fruits, finishing with a nice touch of hops. The mouthfeel was a little thin and uninspiring, but overall this was a nice beer."

"From a bottle. Pours an opaque brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate and malts. Flavor is average. Chocolate and cofee undertones. No alcohol flavor to speak of. An ok impy stout, but there are a lot of better ones out there."
