"A yellow appearance with a thin soapy white head. The aroma is lemons, perfume, and grapefruit. The flavor contains a good balance of malt and hops. A lot of lemon sticks out in the flavor. Not very aggressive for an IPA but a good beer nonetheless. "

"Received this brew from a guest/friend at my place of employment who travels to Colorado often on business. Aroma is strong and very effervescent with plenty of fresh grapefruit and bitterness shining through with some dried-floral overtones; the aroma reminds me of a wet-hopped seasonal popular on the West Coast. Appearance is a rich, copper color with very nice clarity with a full head on top that is well-carbonated and bleach-white in color and leaves sticky, resiny lacing on the glass. Mouthfeel is very dry-like and rather smooth for an IPA with tons of bitter complexity with great balance and the palate is clean, sharp, and very crisp around the edges. Flavor is of resin and pine sap with some dried-floral overtones with an aftertaste that is dry and of fresh grapefruit with a finish that is so very clean with a very faint, but assertive, malty sweetness on the back end. Overall, this is my first product from this brewery and I must say this is one of the best IPA's I have had in sometime; this beer screams traditional IPA style and, stylistically speaking, is one of the best examples of IPA if not the best...Recommended!!! Maybe O'dell will hit Georgia in the next couple of years. "

"Bottle from BeerandBlues2, poured the typical golden color, some amber hues, nice generous white head, good lacing. The aroma was grapefruits and some resinous notes. The flavor followed with an earthy hop in there and a bitter strong finish. I've been spoiled lately drinking Two Hearted, so this was hard to rave about, but it was a solid, nicely done IPA. Mouthfeel could have been fuller and heartier. Thanks, Brad."

"It pours a light amber/orange with thin light tan head and excellent lace. Fresh aroma of orange-like citrus, hops, mint, and spice. The mouthfeel is near-velvet smooth and full-bodied. Flavor of citrus, pine, hops, mint, and malts. One of the better IPAs I've tried."

"Bottled@SBWF2007. Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is flowery hops with some nectary and fruity notes. Flavour is rather grassy with some slight fruity notes. "
