Ommegang Witte, a traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Soft and seductive, Ommegang Witte is this summer's version of spicy intrigue and refreshing flavor.

"Cloudy pale yellow with a light white head. Light nose of yeast, fruit and spice. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Citrus flavors and faint spice, but really quite mild and unassuming."

"Ommegod. A cloudy straw body, with a robust head upon pour. The head quickly settles into a gentle lacing.
My nose picks up a light, spring-y of orange and spice and a souring citrus. The flavor is a citrus ade with hints of wheat and bready malt. Refreshing enough"

"Sampled from bomber: poured a cloudy, vibrant golden colour with a fluffy white head. Aroma is very pleasent, tropical fruit on the nose. Tropical fruit all throughout. Mouthfeel is incredibly creamy, flavors of soft spice, banana, mangoe and wheat. "

"Pours out in a slightly hazy golden colour with a low white head. Light, yet fresh and crispy aroma of banana, cookies, orange-peels and vanilla. Medium-bodied bordering to light-bodied with crisp notes of yeast, coriander, fresh white bread and lemon. Refreshing and crisp finish of mild coriander, orange-peels and yeast. Not earth shattering but one of the better Wit’s I’ve sampled. Really well-crafted, authentic and most of all really drinkable. "

"This misses a little for a "wit". Definite wheat characters are present. cloudy hazy look, little more yellow than amber color. Smells of citrus. Feelis a little light, lacking chewy-ness or heavy feel associated with most wheats. Still, feels nice and crisp. Taste was a little bland. Flavors were close to a wheat "Lite", more like an american wheat. But i found 2 majorthings nearly invisible- coriander/ orange peel (citrus) flavor found in all other "Wits" I've had. Everything was fine with this, but i was expecting something a little different from a wit."
