"Sampled on draft at Falling Rock, Denver, 08/07. Pours deep copper with a froth head and sheets of lacing. Pleasant, floral hop aroma. Perfect balance. Great tasting, layered malt profile. Very drinkable."

"Presentation: It was poured from tap into a pint glass.
Appearance: It has a very nice orange amber color with good clarity and a thin white head. The head fades quickly leaving just a ring of bubbles on top and very little spotty lacing that slowly slides down the sides of the glass.
Smell: The aroma has lovely aromatic hops with hints of citrus and mild pine notes. Under that there are light toasted and bready malt notes.
Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor has a good malt base with a mildly sweet caramel and buttery toasted bread character that is balanced with a pleasant flavor and bitterness from the hops. Hop flavors include mild resin and citrus (grapefruit/lemon) notes. Its finish has a nice bitterness that slowly fades off the tongue. Its light to medium bodied with active carbonation that tickles the tongue.
Notes: Overall it’s a very good easy drinking beer with plenty of flavor.

"Pours an orange color with a thick off-white head. A notch of lacing after each sip. Aroma is somewhat subtle but nice with grapefruit and piney hops mixed with some malts. Grapefruit hoppy flavor, some lemon, sticky pine with caramel malts. Real nice thick malty base for a Pale Ale and it's not lacking in the hop department either. This could be considered an IPA. Hmmm... I'm really starting to dig these Oskar Blues canned beers. "

"Aroma is sweet. It's flavor is a touch of bitter with an underlying caramel sweetness. Very, very nice beer. Plus it's in a can so is great for the pool."
