"Beginning with an attractive copper (duh!) colour beneath a head that really wasn't, the aroma gave up a delightful mix of hops and malt. Taste - well, I just flat out like it a lot, being rather like an amber ale with some hoppy bitterness to finish. Good, solid mouthfeel, too. Purchased on a whim in Astoria, Oregon. A fine, fine beer."

"Poured a whiskey coulored copper with visable carbonation. Good lacing on the side of the glass with legs. The aroma and taste was of malt with hints of fruit and chocolate. Not a bad beer. I think it would drink better in cooler autum weather. Overall quite drinkable."

"This one pours into the glass with a bright golden-amber body. A bigh white head settles rather quickly into a thin filmy halo around the beer. The aroma is definitely hoppy with a bitter accent. In fact the hops overwhelm in aroma and taste. I’d like this one if it had more balance from the mash. "

"From the bottle. Pours a crystal clear copper with a white head. Aroma is light and malty. Flavor is sweet, and very clean. Smooth mouthfeel. An okay beer, but not my kind of beer."

"Another great brew from the OC, pours a clear vibrant copper colour, decent head. Aroma is nutty, light roasted malts and caramel. Flavors are of toffee, apple and soft spice."
