Ozujsko Pivo is Croatia's leading mainstream pils, which dates from 1893. It is a blond beer with an alcohol content of 5.2% vol. The selection of hops and barley gives Ozujsko a refreshing taste and fine bitter aroma. It should be served at 3° C with compact foam.

"Marks are a bit low but it is what it is - a drinkable glass of swill.
Poured out a small, fizzy white cap that died as I blinked. Bright, clear yellow gold brew. Smells ok with some sweetness, mild apple, some grain. The taste is pretty much the same with some hops to be found and a hint of strong lager to it, not so good bitterness bite. A bit too thick feeling of a beer to really enjoy, ok carb, finishes a bit unpleasant. Drink cold!"

"Thanks to cyrenaica for telling me that has entered the country, yet another can of European swill knocked off the To drink list. The only memorable thing about this was the fact I added another country. Not a beer that I would recommend for daily imbibing purposes."

"500ml can
5.2% ABV
I tried this beer on July 26, 2008 after purchasing from one of my local LCBO outlets. The beer poured a translucent medium gold colour with a generous loose white head that quickly disappeared. The aroma was a nice balance of grainy malt with a little hoppish presence. The mouthfeel was light bodied, crisp, and heavily carbonated. The flavour was very grassy with not a lot of hoppiness."

"Pours light yellow with rich thick'n'fluffy foam with some lacing. Lively and intensely malty aroma, also deep grassy and spicy. Light bodied, watery and sweetish. Moderately malty palate, hoppy expression, sweetish and spicy, hayish and yeasty hints. Clearly bitter at the end that goes with long bitterish aftertaste. Nothing great, but though finely drinkable."

"Yellowish golden colour, mediumsized white head. Hops and malts in aroma. Flavour is malty hoppy, very sweet with hints of lemon. Surprisingly good flavour compared with the aroma. "
