This is a solid IPA, maybe some would call it in the 'double IPA' class. The all malt grist makes for a complex and rich ale. The hop level is about 60 IBU, and while that is about 5 times higher than normal domestic beers, it hangs in a nice balance with the extra malt. For comparison, the Rye IPA has about 75 IBU, and that profiles the hop just slightly more.
