"Hazy nutbrown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is twisted, sour fruit, rubber and a bit barnyard. Not too pleasant. Flavour is surprisingly smooth, but quite nothing-saying. Weak sour fruits are in there, but that’s about it. Good, but feels quite boring compared to the two other Panil Barriquée’s KnutAlbert brought to RBESG 06. "

"Bottle, RBESG 2006. Hazy brownish amber colour. Made with 5% grape juice (and fermented with wine yeast?) Vinegary aroma with strange notes of horsepiss and rotting garbage. Woody and funky flavour where the grape juice barely shines through, without the necessary freshness. If I want a sour beer, I’d rather have a gueuze, thank you."
