"Tasted on tap at the 2006 Pizza Port Strong Ale Fest. This Imperial IPA pours a medium orange color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange and piney hops. A medium bodied 2x IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and citrusy with a touch of pine. A medium to highly bitter IPA. Lots of orange and citrus highlights throughout this beer. Good balance. Nice carbonation. Juicy hops. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is bitter. "

"Pours with an orange-gold body topped by a thin head with little lacing. The aroma is very piney and bitter with a slight sweetness and some mint. The flavor is slightly sweet with apricot notes, a little bitterness and some medicinal notes. Medium bodied, slightly dry and smooth."
