The naturally cloudy Paulaner hefe-Weisbier Naturtrub is the Paulaner brewery's number one best seller. Specially top-fermented yeast gives it it's unmistakable character: tangy, light fruity, only a tad bitter. It's natural taste as well as a the many vitamins, minerals and micro elements remain dut to the unfiltered method of brewing.

"Just about as good as it gets in this arena - excellent tangy citrus with an awesome cloudy color and thick white head. The best that I had was served, not with lemon, but with a grapefruit slice in the bottom of the glass!"

"pretty good example of bavarian hefe, pretty tangy, full flaored. you can taste the wheat and other aspects (fruity, slight hops) as well. one i'd like to try again, and i don't say that about hefes much."

"Presentation: It was poured from a brown 11.2oz or 330ml bottle into a weizen glass.
Appearance: It has a cloudy appearance, lots of visible carbonation and a deep golden yellow color with a thick foamy white head. The head which builds up big and pillowy has very good retention and leaves lots of cool lacing on the glass.
Smell: The aroma has a deep malty wheat scent with hints of banana and a touch of spicy clove.
Taste/Mouth feel: The flavor has a refined and well balanced mix of tangy wheat and sweet malty grain with fruity/earthy yeast that has hints of banana and clove. Hop flavor is very mild, clean, somewhat lemony and most noticeable in the finish which is fairly dry. Its mouth feel is smooth and creamy with a medium body that is very drinkable.
Notes: Overall it’s extremely refreshing and flavorful. Very well done.

"Pours a darker golden yellow colour ith a medium-small off white head. Fair bit of carbonation. This above average hefe-weizen tastes (like most hefe-weizen's)of bananas, cloves and wheat but with an unusually pleasant aftertaste. Great for a hot day. Will drink again!"

"This beer poured a cloudy golden orange colour with a thick white head that lasted. The aroma was wheaty with a little bit of cloves, banana and hops. The flavour was wheat, somewhat spicy and sweet, and a little hoppish presence. I enjoyed this beer."
