The naturally cloudy Paulaner hefe-Weisbier Naturtrub is the Paulaner brewery's number one best seller. Specially top-fermented yeast gives it it's unmistakable character: tangy, light fruity, only a tad bitter. It's natural taste as well as a the many vitamins, minerals and micro elements remain dut to the unfiltered method of brewing.

"Looks great with a big white head above a hazy orange beer. Aroma has some citrus like lemon and lime and some spice yeastiness. Flavour is incredibly fresh and easy to drink. Didn't cost any effort to finish my 500ml glass. Really good beer to enjoy in the sun with some cheese."

"A muddied orange colored beer with a big creamy textured, white head rising above. Good hang time settling into a thick soapy ringlet and gentle cap atop the body. Light notes of lemon, spice and banana rise to the nose. And all of this is more prominent in the tasting. The pepper, the bananas, the wheat, the citrus. All well blended in a light-medium bodied beer. "

"12 oz bottle - BevMo
Aroma - classic german hefe aroma...ripe banana, punchy cloves, some light crackery notes with some underlying bubblegum but the banana takes front and center.
Appearance - it really is a perfect pour into the hefe glass. Cloudy, bright yellow body, a creamy and fluffy white cap and really nice lacework left behind.
Taste - light dried apricots, banana, wheat ...some subtle wet cereal flavor too. The warmer it gets, some citrus-like notes come out. Incredibly refreshing.
Palate - smooth, creamy, light bodied, carbonation was suprisingly evident, almost too much
Overall - just a superb summertime beer, easy to knock back several and flavorful enough to keep wanting more. My 6-pack was gone pretty quickly. "

"Bottle. Poured an unfiltered hazy medium amber colored Hefe Weizen with a two fingers slight beige creamy foamy heead that had a long retention. Vigourous carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is yeast and wheat malts, fruity, citrus, orange, banana and spicy, cloves. The flavour is yeast, grainy malts, fruity, banana and spicy, cloves. This medium bodied beer has a nice fruity bitter end. A pleasant and refreshing Hefe Weissbier. "

"Just about as good as it gets in this arena - excellent tangy citrus with an awesome cloudy color and thick white head. The best that I had was served, not with lemon, but with a grapefruit slice in the bottom of the glass!"
