"I'm a huge Oktoberfest fan, having tried as many as I can get my hands on. In my opinion nothing has come close to Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest. Paulaner is very hard to come bye my way so when I found it in a 5 liter mini keg I bought 2 right away. I had heard this is the marzen to beat. It did not dissapoint!! It poured a deep rich copper color with a frothy head , Its taste was exceptional, better than any American Brewery (Though I must admit Sam Adams is getting very close) I truly enjoyed it. I cant belive they arent serving the marzen style at OKtoberfest in Germany anymore. I will rank this even with Hacker-Pschorr right now, fitting, considering they just bought Hacker- Pschorr brewery. Just try one!"

"This one pours a pretty golden dark amber, not too much head. Aroma is malty and slightly spicy, not strong but promising. Flavor is crisp and malty and has a nice nutty undertone. Texture is fairly smooth and somewhat tingly. Not a great beer, but definitely worth a try."

"500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Colden colour, big to medium sized white head. Nice aroma of fruity German hops and sweetish malts. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty but still smooth and easy drinking, with decent hops in the finish."

"I really wish i could have this on tap. I don't think many oktoberfest do well in the bottle. Amber in color with some white head. Aroma was some skunk but not too bad(why i want it on draft) Very smooth mouthfeel and nice body. Caramel and some sweetness to it. Not too bad"

"A rust orange colored medium bodied lager that had sweet aromas. A very malty beer with strong caramel flavors with no hop flavor at all. This is definitely the best marzen I have ever tasted. "
