"Pours out in a slightly hazy copper colour with a creamy lasting off-white foam. Mild and quite neutral aroma of yeast, hay and metal. Medium-bodied with subdued notes of hay, metal and rose hip. Lively carbonation. Long metallic finish of hay, red berries and blood. Subtle character with really sharp metallic edges. I’m not a huge fan."

"Deep golden colour with mediumsized head. Aroma is slight alcohol, malts, some metal. Flavour is metal, some sweetish herbs, sweet malts and overall very unpleasantly sweet. "

"Bottled. Clear orange colour with a wierd bubbly, soon gone, off-white head. Aroma of fruit, yeast and floral hops. Malty taste with yeast and dry hops. Light bodied and quite highly carbonated with a bitter finish. Not bad."

"Came in a gift-pack for Christmas 2005 at the LCBO, with 2 of these, 2 Triple, 2 Oud Bruin and 1 glass. Pours a golden-copper colour with a big fizzy head. Medium retention, patchy foam lace and light carbonation. The nose is grainy with malt and has a touch of vinegar found in Flemish sours. None found in the taste though. Just malt with hints of lemon, apples and hop in the aftertaste. Crisp and clean, almost dry mouthfeel. A lighter Belgian ale with a great unique taste that is pleasant."

"This ale pours a yellow gold color from a 300ml bottle. Large sized, long lasting, white foamy head. Aroma is hoppy, floral, citrusy and grainy. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are citrusy and somewhat bitter. This is kind of a strange beer, its part Belgian and part Lager. Yeasty, hoppy and crisp tasting, its just a weird juxtaposition of flavors. Clean and crisp. Lots of grain flavors. Sort of a Pale Lagers goes Belgian. Its weird, but I sort of like it. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is dry and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter. "
