Point Einbock is an authentic Maibock Style Lager. There are many stories as to how Bock beers were named. Some assert the origins date back to the north-German town of Einbeck. Others maintain that "bock," the German word for "goat," relates to the "kick" of some bock beers. This seasonal Bock beer, offered only during the Spring, is hand-crafted utilizing the finest Munich and Vienna styles of specialty malts with a blend of Bavarian Hallertauer hops. With a German translation of "One-Bock," Point Einbock is one Bock you are sure to enjoy.

"Sampled from bottle. Pour clear golden-amber with a thick, whipped egg-white head. Best looking Maibock I've ever seen. The aroma indicates copious use of Munich malt in the bill. Quite malty. I'd prefer a bit more hop spice, but I guess it is to style. Clean. Medium-full body and low-moderate carbonation. "

"I think this one poured nicely , the foam dissipated quickly. The flavor and aroma were not that good, hence the numbers were pretty much average.I would skip this one."

"This one had a very mild aroma. It poured a clearn copper color with a weak head. It had a smooth and slightly dry flavor with a firm malt backbone. Was decent, but nothing memorable."

"Pours a clear orange-golden colour with a off white malty head. Sized up next to other maibocks- i'd say this was on the lighter side, that's why my rating might be a little lower. Aroma is nice, almonds, goats, and toffee. Mouthfeel is very full and creamy flavors are semi sweet and malty. "
