"A yellow colored lager that had a faint sweet aroma. Somewhat disappointing because it had very little flavor or aroma. There wasn't much going on with this beer and was I ever disappointed."

"I had the Ramstein Maibock on tap at the Grey Lodge. It poured a copper colored body with a white head. Malty aroma. Malty and caramel taste with a nice smooth finish. Enjoyable. "

"On tap at the Golden Rail, Newburg, NY (which see). Lightly carbonated, thin head. Golden brown, clear. Slightly malty aroma. Taste is sweet at first, then malty. Light bodied for the style. Lingering dry taste. A refreshing, summery brew served in a quaint, homey setting. And the bar's the better part of the brew."

"Nice copper color. This beer had a very nice malty flavor with a crisp hop flavor. There was a slight taste of alcohol. Very good German style Mai Bock. "
