"22 oz bottle. Pours a golden orange with a white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film. There's tons of yeasties at the bottom of the bottle.
The aroma is bready malts, melon and a little pine. Nice, but it's a bit subdued though.
The flavor is some sweet malts and fruit that is quickly overtaken by a huge harsh, almost tarry, hop bitterness that lingers in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly watery.
Overall, a huge hop bomb. This is one of the most bitter beers I've had. It's completely unbalanced and a bit too over the top for me. Reminds me of the Hopsickle and Blind Pig that I've had recently - one dimensional hop bombs with harsh and abrasive charred/charcoal/tar hop bitterness."
