An unrestrained, unrepentant hop assault! Big, big beer with a good maltiness, but this one is definitely all about the hops. The hoppiest beer since Stone 4th Anniversary IPA

"Sampled from bottle purchased at City Beer, SF. Pours hazy, light gold with a nice head and remarkable lacing. An attractive IIPA. Piney, resinous, floral & grapefruit aroma. Bitter, but not harsh, flavor. Mild fruit and a simple malt backbone are secondary to the hop flavor. Medium-bodied and well-carbonated. Exemplary."

"Pours dark gold with good clarity and small, scattered head. Huge piney hop nose. The flavor is intensely bitter yet not overwhelming, as it is somewhat balanced by a hearty grain bill. For a beer this bitter, this is one of the best I've tried. Medium bodied and well carbonated with subtle warming affect. Fantastic sample."

"Big thanks to zythum for this one! I've really wanted to try it but wasn't sure if it would happen. Pours an orange-golden color with a thin frothy off-white head with some pretty nice retention and lacing. Aroma is lots of hops, especially pine, with some citrus there as well. The hops up front are sticky pine needles with some lemon, honey, and nice caramel malt backing. The finishing hops are juicy grapefruit and it finishes crisp, bitter, and dry. This has lots of hops, yes, but what I love about this beer is that it is not one of those one dimensional hop bombs and is very well balanced for a IIPA. I imagine this will find a spot close to the top of my list. Thanks again zythum! "

"Had high hopes tasting this beer after all the comments i've read about it elsewhere. Thankfully these hopes were eclipsed by the actual experience!
Pours a nice soft golden color with faint cloudiness. Rich floral and citrus hops are prevalent in the aroma along with an interesting grape scent. Strong hop aroma but not leading to believe this is an overlyhopped brew. Taste was absolutely phenomenal; supremely well-balanced. Smooth delicious hop flavors without feeling overly bitter but a nice tasty malt flavor as well. One of the best beers I've ever tasted; a must for hopheads who want to taste a balanced IPA or for any beer fanatic. One of my top 5"

"500 ml bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange with a smallish frothy white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is piney resiney floral hops with some sweet caramel malt and a little fruitiness.
The flavor is sweet caramel malts initially with a little bright citric fruitiness that is quickly followed by a good sized piney peppery hop bite the lingers in the finish. This is excellent tasting and pretty well balanced (a little hop forward, but not a big messy hop bomb). The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with a velvety texture.
Overall, an excellent and well balanced DIPA!"
