This traditional ale is brewed with an interesing blend of malts, giving it a complex malt flavor with deep notes of toasted malt biscuit, nut, and caramel. The hops in this satisfying ale are Noble Spalt from Bavaria and citrusy Goldings which we select from a single farmer we know in Britian's East Kent. Cheers!

"My first Brown Ale. I know this isn't as good as some of the Oud Bruins of Europe. Nice ruddy color. The head leaves us quickly, never to return. Nice nut like flavor. A nice jump off point for brown ale lovers."

"It poured a dark mahogany color with little head. It was kind of disappointing when it came down to it. Just average, really. You could say it was like a one night stand: you were glad you had it, but in the end it was just average and you won't be doing it again."

"This beer was just average but could be a lot better with a fuller body and more sweetness and a few more hops. I like browns but I want them balanced. Tis brew was way to watery and lacked a complete finish."

"This beer was pretty good, just like most of the Samuel Adams line of beers. However, this beer both looked and smelled a lot better than it tasted or even felt inside your mouth. Overall, still a decent ale."
