A full-bodied English-style Porter, this brew has a substantial roasted malt character. Brewed with traditional English Ale hops and sweetened with Scottish heather honey. The honey balances the spiciness from the hops and the roasted malt character. The beer is finished by dry hopping with English Goldings.

"Poured a vicous black with medium to thin head The aroma was strong of honey. It was most pleasent and created a nice balance with the porter without being too sweet. I paired this with fish cakes while sounding strange actually went well. I was really impressed with this. It is a winner on all fronts."

"Pours out a dark, rich, somewhat translucent brown with a nice thick but not persistent head. Aroma is very pleasantly malty with smoky stoutiness and hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is rich, typical of a good porter, with a whisper of sweetness and just a touch of hops. Thick and smooth, this should please any fan of stouts and porters."

"Suprising! Not sweet like a "honey" brew. You can sense the honey (smell) but there is no swetness. A very good brew that can be enjoyed over and over again. This one is highly recommended!!"

"A great addition to the SA oeuvre. Pours a rich, smooth dark brown (like pre-milked coffee). Lots or honey and roasted malts waft right out of the bottle. More honey, with hints of chocolate, on the tongue. Velvety smooth mouthfeel, and almost no aftertaste. "
