"Keg at The 78, Glasgow. Black colour, mahogany in the highlights. Creamy head. Moderate aroma, roasty and a hint of vinegar. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Roasty flavour, slightly fruity. Better than Guinness."

"Very Toasty, good pour, but not as delightful as some others to watch. I enjoy all of SS ales, beers and stouts and would be remiss if I hadn't tasted it. Of all their Stouts I'd put it at the bottom of the Totum. "

"A fair to middlin stout, decent, but NO where near the Oatmeal, a top 5 stout in my book. Nice malt and toasted grain nose, some hop bite, but a bit weak overall. I'd like to call it a "Lite" beer drinkers stout!
