"Poured out a large, thick and fluffy dark brown head with retention above minimum cover, slippery ropy lacing all on top of beer that is very very dark brown. The aroma is mild with chocolate, weak weak coffee, lots of roasted malts, slight fruit, warm nuts :) . The flavour is pretty good but in no way compares to the excellence which is their Oatmeal Stout. Nice roasted malts, sweet yet bitter. The bitterness is mild and lasting and becomes more aromatic as it warms. The hops become more obvious than the other flavours as I went as well. Butter? Of course, this beer excels at a warmer temperature. Velvety smooth with a bit of carbonation that seems hidden. Slight alcohol heat, good lengthy bitterness."

"Pours a deep black-mahogany with a thin tan head and some lacing. Little carbonation. Aromas of toasted malt, chocolate, coffee and toffee. Taste is rich and creamy with a roasted malt and chocolate maltness and a slight bitter from the hops."

"Tons of beer smoke is pouring down the bottle and smells like milk chocolate and vanilla. Very dark brown body with large brown crown, excellent retention, and amazing roapy lacing. Dam fine looking brew. Apple juice is coming through in the aroma what seems very strange for the style, coffee and milk chocolate round out the aroma. I’ll say the smell is interesting but not all that good. Taste is yummy milk chocolate, coffee, banana, and on some sips I’m tasting just plain old milk. Flavor is overall sweet and it has a apple kind of flavor but it’s not apple it’s something ells (peach, raspberry maybe ?) brew is way more bitter now when warmer and more coffee is coming through in the flavor. PUMPKIN!!!! That’s what the mystery taste is its pumpkin and it lingering in the after taste for what seems hours. Complex brew that’s tasty to drink but seems not as good as others in the style."
