"Came in a big friendly looking 18.7 oz bottle. I wonder what the significance of the size is? No head after a gentle pour. No visible carbonation. Has a fairly strong alarming volatile ethanol or grain alky aroma mixed with an apple olfactory. Just a tinge darker than pale yellow. Good tingly initial carbonation. Taste is not as dry as the aroma but you definitely know its got alky in there. Seems to have a little more personality than most hard ciders I’ve had. For this same reason, it does not really come across much like an alky pop. There is a slight bitter aftertaste following each slug. Goes down easy. Big bottle disappears quickly. That quirky slight bitter finish keeps building to a rather dull lingering sensation after the session. "

"Aroma is very sweet with nuiances of sourness as well as tartness with some fresh apple aromas coming through as well as slight "off" flavors that add character. Appearance is a deep, golden in color with some haziness with only a very minute, bubbly head on top that is rather uncarbonated. Mouthfeel is dry-like with sweet complexity as well as tart balance with some wet-like overtones. Flavor is of fermented apples and tartness with an aftertaste that is sour-like with a sweet finish as well as refreshing. Overall, a nice product here and much better than your run-on-the-mill variaties such as Woodpecker and Woodhuck; recommended brew here and very reminiscient of hard, English variaties and such."

"lots of fresh cut apple smells (red or the white...damn, i can never remember that one) ... big fizzy head dies down to a decent ring ... drum and bass dark orange color ... very tasty cider, sweet yet has a hint of dryness ... 'if ain't funny, it ain't worth jack' ... nice label too..."

"Pours with a frothy, short lasting, initially two-finger thick, pale, white colored head. This is brilliantly clear and a light gold color. The aroma smells lightly tart, clean, with a soft apple aroma and a certain, dry, white wine like note.
Sweet tasting, more so than the aroma would have suggested, but not overly so for a cider. Very clean fermentation character with a light, but crisp apple flavor towards the finish. This is lightly tart from the apples and has a nice fizzy carbonation to it that definitely scrubs the palate. I can't believe I am saying this, but because this has such a clean fermentation profile it could actually use a touch more sweetness, it might help boost the apple flavors here.
Not a whole lot to say about this, it is a very cleanly fermented cider with only the apple character evident and even that is not nearly as complex as it could be."
