"Pale yellow color; lightly carbonated; light sulphured apple aroma; clean, crisp mouthfeel; very dry faint apple flavors; mercifully not sweet at all, actually it's quite refreshing; somewhat reminiscent of a Frankfurter apfelwein, but without the character; a nice change of pace from the usual lineup of light beers available at the hotels in Botswana. "Aroma is of fermented apples as well as sweet sugar and apple juice. Appearance is a deep, golden yellow in color with a full, white and fuzzy head on top that disappears almost immediately leaving no lacing at all. Mouthfeel is light-bodied and very dry with some sweet apple complexity. Flavor is of apple juice and sweetness with some tartness and some bitter but not overly so with an aftertaste that is clean and crisp as well as dry with a finish that is sharp and tasty. Overall, not my favorite style but this brew is tasty and almost like Strongbow but a bit better in my opinion and a great thirst-quencher during these hot Summer months in the South...Recommended. Also, the aftertaste has similarities to the dry glue you find on envelopes you lick to close and tastes like Sutter Home Chardonay...
