"Pour is amber with a thin but creamy head. Aroma and taste are all about the malt. Very mild and easy drinking but just a bit thin in the mouthfeel. Would be easy to drink several of these in a sitting."

"Very nice aroma. Nice full flavored taste to it. Had it in both the can and the bottle and they both tasted the same. Great brew for a warm day out at the lake. Will have again."

"Got to try this one at the brewery as part of the tasting session after the tour, and then also got a couple bottles to bring back.
Pours slightly cloudy, reddish orange color, small cream-white head. Foam didn't last very long, thin lace. The smell is toasted caramel along with some spicy hops. Roasted malt flavor, earthy and slightly spicy hoppiness. The finish is dry and clean. The body and mouthfeel are medium and appropriate. Not overly complex, a smooth easy drinking sessional. Would love to get a can of Firebrick for my collection (only ever saw bottles)."

"An orangish amber appearance with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some caramel, citrus, and oats. The flavor is malty with some mild citrus, caramel, and a bready presence. Overall a pretty good session beer. "

"Attractive amber body, but the head dissipated too fast. No lacing. Very inviting aroma, though. I was hoping the flavor would be a reflection of the smell, but here the hops seem a little too pronounced for the style. If the hops weren't so bitter, this would probably be a very fine Vienna. Carbonation is a wee bit fizzy, yet the overall weight seems to be right. All in all, this is a nice offering by Schell, but I think it could be made better by selecting different hops. "
