"I thought this poured nicely, had good color and the taste was good. Have no official complaints, just i think the hype of this beer is overplayed . I have had better India Pale Ales."

"This brew poured a cloudy golden orange with a nice frothy white head that didn't last very long, but settles into a nice ring leaving a scant bit of lacing. The aroma is HOPS! Floral, spice and citrus (heavy grapfruit). The mouthfeel is medium. The flavor--alcohol is very well cloaked, definite hoppiness strong grapefruit bitterness (pith like) but balanced well to make it very, very drinkable."

"12 fl. oz. bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.9%. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, notes of citrus and tropical fruits. The zesty and fruity flavour is distinctly hoppy from start to finish, on a sufficient malty background. Ends in a grapefruity bitterness, but it is not overdone. Long bitter aftertaste. More to my liking than the Arrogant Bastard. Good stuff!"

"This is a fantastic IPA. I love the super bitter aroma and taste of this. It pours very pale but yet a perfect color for a pale ale. Judging by that, youd have no idea what youre in for. Super dark bitterness in the mouth but a perfect taste; rather light only in comparison to the bitterness. My fave regular IPA."

"Stone brewery has not been a disappointment so far. This IPA is cloudy orangish-yellow. A decent frothy white head, but without much hang time. Settles into a nice soapy ring. The aroma is hops, floral, spicy and citrusy. The body is obust and a smoothness that will make this a very drinkable IPA. Though there’s no bitterness from the hops and the relatively high alcohol is not noticeable on the palate, the overtaste is not as robust as the aroma would suggest. Otherwise a decent IPA."
