"From Pt Roberts (WA) Marketplace. I could smell the hops from the instant I popped the cap off. Frothy white head over a slightly cloudy dark orange body. Solid mouth to complement the snappy hop bite. Good to the end."

"Another awesome brew from Stone. I had Ruination several weeks ago and loved it, this time I bought their regular IPA version and at first thought I had mistakenly purchased the Ruination by the taste of it! Nice and strong hop flavors and aroma. Liquid Gold! "

"This is an IPA light. It's like a wheat beer/IPA mix IMHO. It pours cloudy with a very thin foam head. Aroma is intriguing. There is a dry, thin mouthfeel. The finish is astringent and slightly hoppy. Oh, I didn't mention the flavor. That's because there isn't any. This beer is flat and unremarkable. Taste is similar to a supermarket IPA. I expected a lot more from the Stone brewery."

"It's a toss up between Bell's Two Hearted and this as my top standard IPA. This is a bit lighter on the malt, and maybe a tad more bitter and hoppy. Nice citrus flavor too, but not overwhelming. Very smooth mouthfeel. Light orange semi-clear appearance. Haven't had a Stone yet that I didn't like (a lot). Probably not as good as the Ruination, but lighter and a better price."

"This was only my second IPA and it was a very good beer. Strong flaver with a bitter bite at the end. I do think I may have scored it higher if I won't have tried a Flying Dog right before, which may have been one of the best beers I have ever had. So, I will need to try this one again."
