"Hazy yellow-gold color with a moderate white head and good lace; very similar to the Ruination. Mildly bitter soft grapefruit aroma. Initial smooth mouthfeel quickly turns sharp and crisp. Nicely balanced flavors of bready grain and citrusy hops. A solid APA but not that exceptional. MUSIC: 'Homeward, These Shoes' by Iron & Wine. "Probably the best American Pale Ale I've tried yet, but if I'm going to buy a Stone Beer its going to be their India Pale Ale. Overall, this is pretty good if you aren't in the mood for something too hoppy."

"A great pale ale, but after having the Imperial (IPA), it just couldn't compete. Don't get me wrong - that's just comparing those two - it stands head and shoulders after most others. Still a treat."
