"I like this beer but porters are getting on my nerves, alittle....pours black, with a small ring of lasting head..has some roastiness, but quite tame..its lackluster but a solid starter porter, would also try on tap for sure.."

"This porter pours a dark black color from a 12oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is lightly roasted malts, some chocolate and coffee. A medium bodied Porter. Malts are semi-sweet chocolate, touch of coffee and some vanilla. Hops are slightly bitter and a touch earthy. A little thin tasting for a porter, but it has a nice round soft carbonation that makes up for that somewhat. Crisp and dry finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter with some coffee. "

"Bottle given to me by Dansting. Pours a dark brown with a thick tan head. Aroma is pleasant and smells of chocolate and coffee. Flavor is excellent with a great yeast/hop bite to it. Really good porter. Would like to have this again."

"Bottle. Pours a clear, deep, dark-brown color with a thick, light-brown head. Sweet aroma of malt. Nice mouthfeel, lighter than may porters. Nice malty flavor with a coffee flavor, although not overpowering. Really good porter."
