Our flagship beer, this is a medium-bodied, extremely smooth Irish style red ale with an evenly roasted malt character from start to finish.

"Color is a nice cloudy golden amber. Aroma is rich and malty, rather jazzy and lively. Flavor is very much like the aroma - mostly malty, with a hint of hop bitterness, plenty of zing and sass. This is a satisfying ale, not spectacular but definitely a delight."

"Pours a hazy amber color with a quickly disappearing head and little lacing. Some carbonation. Aroma is sour fruits and malts with a little hops on the back end. Sour first taste then some malts and a bit of hops in the finish. "

"Bottle courtesy of Shag/Clash. Poured a light amber color, thin initial head, a couple rings of lacing, but not much else going on here. The aroma was sour pine cones. The flavor was sour (lemony/citrus) pine cones, dry bitter nuts, butter, and lots of water. In fact, if not for the watery-ness, this thing may have been pretty disgusting. I guess no one reading up to this point is surprised that my comments on mouthfeel are: watery, watery, and watery. Thanks to Matt for hooking me up with this one upon request, only doing what was requested to grab another state!"

"I paid half an arm for a pint of this at the Greenville airport, but since I had a half hour to kill, I figured I'd try a new local beer! Poured with not much head at all, but with a nice dark, amber color. Malty with a touch of fruit, and a tad citrus. Very mild hops and finishing without much of anything. An easy beer to drink, and I enjoyed it over their Amber Ale."

"The Red Ale pours a dark amber. There is a touch of caramel malt in the aroma with a tiny hop aroma. There's a mild hop bitterness, but overall there's really not a lot here to keep my interest. I much prefer the Amber Ale over this."
