"This is my first encounter with a Three Floyds beer and it’s pretty great. It’s a big, sweet, citrusy/floral DIPA with good hop resin bite. The beer pours a deep gold with little head but lots of lacing. The smell is thick with clementines, limes and floral hops. The flavor is similarly great. The hop flavor is very strong nearly to the point of having a solvent character. The malt is still quite sweet adding an excellent caramel character. The hops taste strongly of oranges, sweet and citric. The defining characteristic with DIPAs for me is the bitterness level and Dreadnaught is within the optimum range for me. The mouthfeel is oily and thick without being cloying. "

"Why has it taken me so long to taste the sweet sweet nectar of this fantastic beer?? Pours an illuminescent orange with a fluffy froth head. Immediate hops and grass on the nose. Pretty dank, underneath all that herbaceous aroma is some sweet fruity notes. Taste is pretty hopped up as you would expect from this beer. No laughing matter. Chewy and fresh. Awesome beer!"

"Pours a deep orange tea with little head. Nicely carbonated and very well balanced between hops and cirusy sugar tones. I don;t consider this a hop head dream come true, but rather a very balanced and well rounded brew - quite tasty."

"A good tasting beer that went dowm quite well. I was hoping for something a little more bitter, but that may be due to this not being as fresh as possible. Good colour, fruit laden aroma, and a bitter finish."
