Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale is a top fermented Ale.
The beer is brewed with top quality barley malt,
fine selected hops and yeast according to an ancient old recipe.
It's fruity character can best be descriped as

Tilburg's Dutch Brown Ale is being produced in the brewery located
in the small quiet village of Tilburg, near the Belgian border.
The brewery is unique in it's kind, while it is situated inside the walls of
the Abbey of Koningshoeven.
The famous Dutch painter: "Jeroen Bosch" lived nearby the brewery.
The label is based on a detail from Jeroen Bosch’s masterpiece

"Looks good out of the bottle. Big, slightly off white head that quickly dissipates into a dark amber/brown body. No carbonation evident. A nutty aroma with mild sweetness. A velvety drink with just enough lingering aftertaste. Slightly smoky with some nut and fruit. The lack of carbonation may have some say it tastes "flat," but this is a true ale. I imagine European sailors of the 16-1700s drinking this while in port - heck, they probably took it with them. A mild cigar (Macanudo) would pair well with this libation."

"A ruby-brown entry into the Brown Ale. The foamy white-ran head lingers for a while after pour, settling into lacey crown. The aroma is sweet hints of fruit, caramel and malt. The flavor matches with the fruitiness sweet complemented with caramel and roasted malt. It lacks a fuller, creamier mouthfeel that was a little disappointing. "

"It pours dark red/brown color. It has a nice lacing tan head on it. It has a slight carmel smell to it. It has a great mouthfeel to it. The taste is damn good also. It leaves a nice aftertaste that last for a while. overall a very nice beer that won't break the bank. "

"I love this beer. If I could find it in anything larger then a six pack, It would be in my fridge all the time. Smooth pour and smooth mouth feel. Some very unique flavors inside. Not your normal Brown Ale, in fact this beer is different then any I have ever had. Sweet initially with little to no aftertaste. I have convinced many non-beer drinkers to try it and even they admit it has a taste all its own. Tastes like a beer that should have a higher alcohol content but it doesnt, making a great everyday beer."

"I'm not 100% sure, but I keep staring at the label on the bottle and I think this is what's depicted: A baby bird's head with a human body, on top of the head is a cast iron kettle acting as a hat. A naked body is coming out of it's mouth, which has black birds flying out of it's ass.....WHY?
The beer has a uniquely pleasant aroma of earthy roasted malt with a milky cream scent. Dark amber pour, thick diminishing head and good lacing. Light to medium bodied, drinks very smooth and silky. Sweet pleasant finish. Creamy dark malt with lightly burnt and nutty bread. Mildly bittering, tasty bottle."
