"Best By Date of May 2008; Sampled April 2008
I end up with about a two finger thick, tan-tinged, off-white colored head in my 25cl tulip glass. The beer is a lightly darkened honey color, but shows a lightly hazy, straw gold color when held up to the light. The aroma is lightly tart, almost smelling as if a bit of watered down lemon juice has been added to the beer. An incredibly clean beer, especially for a Lambic, there is almost not funkiness to it at all. A light modeling clay note and perhaps a touch of plastic are all that could even be generously described as funky. The aroma is strangely non-descript, though there is some dusty, crushed wheat aromas here, though only lightly.
Quite a bit more sour than the aroma might have suggested, but there is also a light sweetness to this beer. The combination makes me think of lemon-jelly candies, though this is not a really sweet beer. Lactic acid notes make up the sourness for the most part. Again, as in the aroma, this beer is quite clean tasting, there is really not much in the way of funkiness here. Some dusty, slightly tired grain character leans a bit towards oxidized and there is a touch of hay to the flavor. The body is about in line with a traditional Gueuze, a light fullness to it, but still quaffable.
There is really not a whole lot going on in this beer, it is fairly tart (though certainly not on the hard side for a Lambic) though, so it is a bit puzzling that this beer is so clean. It really could use some characteristic funkiness; even a little bit of Brettanomyces character would go a long way here."

"Golden / pale amber, white dense head with good bubbles.
Sour aromas, green fruit / appley. Some wild gamey / hessian sack notes.
Flavours tart of course, touch band-aid, citrus. Slightly vinous, hint of grape vinegar.
Crisp & light, long sour touch with light body.

"Bottle. Orange colour with a large-ish white head. Sweet and sour fruity lemon aroma. Pleasant tasting; sour apples with quite a long dry sour finish. Medium bodied, fairly highly carbonated. Nice beer. "
