This strong, red-brown ale presents a smooth, full body, a complex, slightly smoky malt profile, and a sweet finish balanced by hints of roasted grain and warming alcohol. Hops are all but absent from this traditional Scottish brew.

"A midly sweet scotch style ale, rich in caramel and nutty character. The head is big and frothy and dark brown. And it stays in the glass for a while, it doesn't dissipate quickly. the newest member in the family of Titletown brew."

""This beer had a nutty flavor with an almost malty aroma. It was very dark in color with a diminishing head. It was smooth with a semi-dry finish. I liked it because it was sweeter than most dark beers. I hate dark beer, but I enjoyed this one."
